I Will Always Love You, lagu yang romantis abis ini, menjadi salah satu lagu tema untuk film bergenre romantic thriller The Bodyguard besutan sutradara Mick Jackson, yang dirilis tahun 1992. Dimana Whitney Houston berperan sebagai Rachel Marron, seorang superstar. Dan Kevin Costner, sebagai Frank Farmer, mantan agen rahasia yang beralih profesi menjadi seorang bodyguard profesional, yang disewa oleh Rachel Marron.

I Will Always Love You, diciptakan tahun 1973 dan dipopulerkan pertama kali oleh penyanyi country Dolly Parton, pada bulan April 1974 dalam album Jolene. Dua bulan berikutnya, pada 8 Juni 1974, lagu ini berhasil menduduki puncak tangga Billboard Hot Country Singles.

I Will Always Love You, yang dinyanyikan Whitney Houston berhasil mencapai puncak kesuksesannya, tercatat lebih dari 12 juta copy terjual di seluruh dunia. Juga tercatat dalam VH'1 100 Greatest Love Songs of the Past 25 Years, ada di posisi 8. Di posisi 4 dalam VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of the 90s, dan no.1 dalam VH1's 100 Greatest Love Songs. Juga di posisi 68 dalam Billboard's Greatest Songs of all time.

William Martin Joel atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai Billy Joel, pria kelahiran 9 Mei 1949, mengaku ketika menulis lagu Just the Way You Are ini, dipersembahkan sebagai hadiah ulang tahun untuk Elizabeth Weber, istri pertamanya.

Just the Way You Are, menjadi salah satu hits single di album The Stranger yang dirilis pada September 1977. Sukses merebut Grammy Awards untuk kategori Records of the Year dan Song of the Year, tahun 1978.

Banyak musisi dan penyanyi yang me-recycle lagu ini, diantaranya Diana Krall, Grover Washington Jr, Barry White, Shirley bassey, Jose Feliciano, Engelbert Humperdink, dan frank Sinatra.

Lagu yang diciptakan sendiri oleh Lionel Richie ini, dijadikan lagu tema untuk sebuah film dengan judul yang sama, ENDLESS LOVE, yang dibintangi oleh Broke Shields dan Martin Hewitt tahun 1981. Tapi, berbanding terbalik dengan lagunya yang sukses di puncak tangga Billboard Hot 100 Number One Single selama 9 pekan, mulai 15 Agustus sampai dengan 10 Oktober 1981. Film drama romantis besutan sutradara Franco Zeffirelli ini justru mengalami nasib yang kurang beruntung.

Endless Love juga dinominasikan untuk kategori "Best Original Song", dalam Academy Award.

Di era '80an, Endless Love menjadi lagu yang paling sering diperdengarkan di acara-acara pernikahan.
